Hollywood actress, Letitia Wright, has landed in hospital after sustaining a stunt injury while filming “Black Panther” sequel.
The stunt rig accident which caused minor injuries happened during the overnight film shoot in Boston, Variety reported.
The production for the Marvel movie, “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” is based in Atlanta and the accident did not affect the shooting schedule of the movie.
“Letitia Wright sustained minor injuries today while filming a stunt for ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.’ She is currently receiving care in a local hospital and is expected to be released soon,” a spokesperson for Marvel said in a statement.

Wright played the role of Shuri in the first Black Panther movie as the tech savvy and younger sister to the main character, T’Challa, played by the late Chadwick Boseman.
The actress also featured in “Avengers: Infinity War” and “Avengers: Endgame.”
The sequel, directed by Ryan Coogler began it’s production in June 2021 ans is expected to feature other characters like Danai Gurira, Daniel Kaluuya, Winston Duke, Lupita Nyong’o, Florence Kasumba and Angela Bassett.
The “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” is scheduled to be released in July, 2022.
